The Equal Rights Amendment was a proposed amendment to the
United States Constitution in the 1970s and 1980s. It would have given men and
women full equality under the law. However, today the Supreme Court is trying
to decide if the government has the right to mandate equality if it comes to healthcare.
The United States
has become a two class society, with the ones who have all and the ones who have
very little or nothing. Sure the ones who have all want the Supreme
Court to overturn this new Healthcare-law which would give everyone healthcare because they have
insurance. They have the money to buy the best insurance available.
So what about
the ones who can’t pay for their medical bills?
Should they just simply die
because the conservative Supreme Court things it is too much government involvement?
Isn’t one of the jobs of our government to protect and serve all people not
just the wealthiest?
