What’s wrong with the people in the United States of American?

Many of my friends in different countries around the world wonder what’s wrong with the people in the United States of American, the country they still admire as an example of freedom. 

Now, those friends are wondering why Americans don’t want to have health insurance.  Most countries around the world have a public insurance system and most people of those countries are happy with their system. Yes, there are problems with those pubic insurances systems but where is the perfect system? However, at least the people in those countries such as Taiwan, Germany, Scandinavia etc. don’t have to worry about going bankrupt if they have to be treated at a hospital other than the citizens in the United States who don’t have insurance. 

So why do the people in the Unites States allow a few radicals hold the country hostage right now? 

Maybe the United States needs its own spring movement, more successful than the Anti –Wall-Street -Movement “Occupy Wall Street”.
