How come that Switzerland leads the Global
Competitiveness Index,as a country with high wages [Switzerland with an
estimated GDP per capita of $86,145, the U.S.A. with an estimated GDP
per capita of $54,980, Germany with an estimated GDP per
capita of $47,893 and Taiwan with an estimated GDP per capita of
$22,002 ]?
Many other countries consistently claim that they have to
keep the wages low (and with that poverty high) to stay competitive!
So what's wrong with this philosophy?
