Create World Peace

I have been watching the turmoil unfolding around the world over the years. I have been wondering, why are there so many unhappy people? I came to one conclusion, that these unrests are related to a lack of education.

Less educated people are more likely to be influenced by others who have their own power agenda. Less educated people often do not hold well paid jobs and are therefore on the lowest steps of the social ladder. Less educated people are therefore more likely to live in poverty and consequently are more likely to experience social jalousie, frustrating and anger.

If someone doesn’t own anything, he or she has nothing to lose and is more likely to take risks and even lose their life if they are promised a better life or other rewards (i.e. eternal life in heaven).

I think the only solution to this problem is to further education. Invest money in schools, teachers and as a result eliminate poverty. Stop being consumed by greed. Yes, greed! Just look at the worlds biggest corporations. They spend millions to improve their image by donation money to some of the neediest. However, their goal persists, to make profit by any means even if it means to exploit the same people who just had received a handout (greed).

Education should be a right for all, not a privilege for the few who can afford it.

People who have education should not be seen as the elitists (as labeled during the last US- election campaign by the Republican under John McCain and Sarah Palin). It is sad to see, that in the world's most powerful country, people who have education are called elitists and are made to feel ashamed of their intellectual achievements.

If we would spent more money on Education, people would be able to lift themselves out of poverty, understand and see manipulations, and ultimately want to live a peaceful life, rather than fight against the ones who are different in many ways.

Eliminate poverty, further education, and you will create world peace.
