On the brink of another war?

Despite the development of many other news stories, I think this news is one of the more critical developments since it applies the preparation for another war in the Middle East, with the Islamic republic of Iran.

As the Washington Post and other news media reported on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, the top U.S. commander in the Middle East, Adm. William J. "Fox" Fallon, whose views on strategy in the region have put him at odds with the Bush administration, abruptly announced his resignation yesterday, calling reports of such disagreements an untenable "distraction."

Fallon had made several comments reflecting disagreement with the administration's stance on Iran and wanted to stop Bush from going to war with the Islamic republic.

How could an Admiral undermine the authority of the Commander and Chief President Bush and his hard-line administration?

Instead of being fired by his boss, President Bush, he decided to quit. However, it does not take the imminent question of the table, is the United States ready to strike again? Is President Bush going to war just before he is going to leave office?

God help us!

Although Fallon had told his colleagues that he viewed Iran as a problem similar to China -- one that mainly required steady engagement, the Bush administration continuous to engagement with any country they believe are terrorists. The Bush administration believes that an aggressive confrontation is the only solution. That's why the war in Iraq was started and other war will come about as long as this administration rules in Washington!

Why don’t the President Bush and his administration listen to an advice with a fresh perspective?

Well, that is a question people have been asking over the last eight years. We have to remember that War is a great source of revenue for the corporations the Bush administration is supporting!
